On July 1, 2014 Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) takes effect and this has implications for anyone sending electronic commercial messages to Canadians.

CASL defines a commercial electronic message as any electronic message that encourages participation in a commercial activity, regardless of whether there is an expectation of profit.

FutureCoast had the honour of being nominated for the esteemed Webby Awards in the NetArt category, but lost to Google for their little Arcade Fire project.

Tactica has been nominated for a Signature Award in the microsite category for our work on Spot the Zombie. The site features some fabulous face-morphing to let you to ‘zombify’ yourself. The site was created for SAFE Manitoba by Tactica Interactive and ChangeMakers. Winners will be announced at the Signature Awards Gala on May 7.
