Who we’re looking for

We want to hire people who can work with us to push the boundaries of interactive experiences. Tactica is looking for team members who can operate well in an open environment and can collaborate with other designers, developers and especially with clients. You should be self starting and able to see a project from conception through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Help lead Tactica’s development team
• Develop website, web apps, mobile applications, and games
• Assist with implementation of project architecture, standards and processes
• Assist with development of project code, processes and standards
• Assist in developing technical project schedules, plans, task assignments and time estimates
• Work with a team to conceptualize new applications and games for both client and Tactica

Required Skills

• Experience with one or more of the following: Ruby on Rails, PHP, .NET framework (C#), Objective C / Cocoa programming
• Understanding of MVC development principles
• A good sense of humour
• Agile software development experience
• Experience implementing 3rd party APIs (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, etc)
• Experience with one or more of the following content management systems: WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore
• BSc. in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience
• Excellent communication skills
