ALL ACCESS: The Digital Incubator. The 1:00 PM panel discussion, moderated by
Rogue Nation’s Ryan FitzGerald, will focus on "
convergent media" - the hotly debated phenomena now forging new opportunities for the film, television and new media spheres.
Production,
distribution, marketing and thematic enrichment of film and tv are
mutating as storytelling and content delivery become one on the web.
ALL ACCESS is a day-long conference exploring this new world.
Panellists including Merit Motion Picture’s Alexa Rosentreter and Original Picture’s
Nicholas Hirst will highlight the intertwining of traditional and new
media with examples of locally produced convergence projects. Tactica
and Merit Motion Pictures have been working in partnership with CBC to develop an exciting convergence production in support of The Nature of Things HD documentary series, One Ocean, to be released in March 2010.
