Interactive / Web Designer - Fulltime & Freelance Available
Tactica is looking for a talented interactive / web designer with the ability to express creative concepts visually and implement core usability principles for the web and other interactive applications. We want bright, creative, and interesting people to join our team to work on exciting interactive projects. Fulltime and freelance positions available.
- Designing the graphic user interfaces for websites, mobile devices, games, and desktop applications
- Assisting in the development of creative concepts
- Interpreting and applying project requirements
- Developing original artwork
- Prepare designs for programming implementation
Required Skills
- Strong design portfolio with 2+ years post years interactive design work experience
- Excellent understanding of web/interactive design, including usability, compatibility, information architecture, wireframing, advantages and limitations
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite especially Photoshop and Flash
- Assets include working knowledge of CSS, ActionScript, XHTML, OOP languages, 3D modeling/animation, Unity 3D/game development, and print design
- Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills
- Personal accountability for adherence to quality standards and deadlines
